Wow.
I have learned so much about myself the past week. I am glad I never made a mistake, I'm glad it turned out the way it did. It was hard and a constant challenge of my strength, but I made it out clean and smarter and more open to what I need and want.
This is probably obscure for you that don't know me, and I think there are only 3 people who I know that know what I am talking about.
Time tells and heals all and I am very happy to be alive.

Well well well I am at work right now. I just downloaded the livejournal application for my iPhone. So I might be posting more often. I miss livejournal. I am so sleepy. The salon is so slow today. I miss my boyfriend. He left for work at 8am and I haven't seen him since. I am lame. I know. Peter seems to be doing better. He stopped spraying things and he has an appointment for the 29th to get neutered. Our downstairs neighbor, Josie, let us borrow her cat tree. It's tall and covered in pretty chocolate brown carpet. He loves to sleep in the top hole of it. I want all of my paychecks to hurry up so I can pay off bills and things. It's frustrating. I can't get stressed cause there's nothing I can do but wait for my paychecks twice a month. 8 more days til my next check. What a shitty way to live. I am going back to school in august to do something to make more money to just survive. I'm going to go for special education. I'll try also to get my masters in supervision so I can be a principal or work in HR or admin buldings etc just incase I burn out. I have no idea if I can handle it. We shall see. Anyway. Back to work I go.

So all is well in the Marshall-Allard-Berglund household. The only thing that isn't is our cat peter. We might have to get rid of him because he keeps spraying everywhere and making shit smell. I got a cat genie off of craigslist to keep his poop smells at bay but he now has picked up this thing of spraying everything.
We found some cats online at shelters we are going to go take a look at, but I don't want to spend the money to neuter him and get his shots if we are going to "give up" on this stray cat. We have had him for a few days past a year..and I will be sad, but man...I don't want my shit sprayed.
If you have ever had a male cat, did it help to get him neutered?

EMPLOYEE OF THE MONTHHHHH!!!
Tonight at the meeting i was announced employee of the month and promoted to salon coordinator to all of the assistants that will be coming to join us in the future.
I am very happy and thankful.
I really enjoy my job and take pride in it. I left alot behind when I moved from JCPenney Salon to Toni&Guy. Money, friends, shit ton of clients..just to name a few things. It's been really hard to wake up every morning to get there at 10am and clean and clean and clean and clean and clean and clean and clean until 7pm. I know that there have been thousands of assistants before me, that is what keeps me from bitching all the time about it. Anyway. I am happy. That was really the boost I have been needing in this really rough time I am going through.
So, whatever its worth... yay! hip hip horrah!

I just got off the phone with BankofAmerica/ Ticketmaster
I just want to give a big fuck you to Ticket Master. I will never buy another ticket through them for the rest of my life.
Bank of America has again proven to be a really really really great bank to me with awesome customer support. The woman I was on the phone with stayed with me for over an hour with Ticket Master.
Anyway. My tickets still have not been refunded. These tickets were a small fortune. I never got to see the show or the tickets or anything. I am pretty pisssssed off.

This night/day was SO shitty, but I had to go pick up rene from the show, and guess WHAT I stood like a major lurker and hung out by the bus with this other kid, and then ben came out after the show.
He was the most remarkable, genuine, beautiful, sweet, amazing, human being I have ever met. I have met alotttt of bands in my time, and never ever ever have I ever met such a sweet person. He signed my bag and my shirt that Rene got for me and I had him sign a paper for my brother, which I am mailing to him tomorrow.
So yeah,
FOr thoes of you, my friends, who say to me when I blast ben folds "yeah I get it Amanda, but I just never got into him,." WELLF UCK YOU YOUR COOOOOL BANDS SUCK ASS AND ARE JERKS WHEN YOU GO MEET THEM. Ben folds holds a special spot in my heart now. hahahah.

Next Tuesday @ 5:30 pm I have to have a model for color with a mini partial.
What the hell is a mini partial you ask?
To spare you the toni&guy terminology that you wouldn't understand, it is a partial highlight, just at the top, in a triangle section and its reversable coloring. If you part it one way, it will be chunkier, and if you part it the other way, it will be more natural.
So,
If you were to have this done, your hair would be any color [preferably the same level or a shade darker, nothing lighter] any tone, with highlights.
SO HELP ME OUT!
The model fee is $18 dollars. This would usually cost you upwards of $120.

Tomorrow is my 21st birthday.
Tomorrow I fly to Veagas.
Today I have to do alottttt of stuff to get everything ready.
Why do I always wait til the last min to get everything done!?
Why does flying 3 hours have to entail so much crap?
I haven't flown somewhere after the 9/11 bull shit happened, so I have no clue whats going to go down for security. I hope they don't think I am a terrorist. They will thoroughly piss me off.
Anyway.
I am pretty upset about what has happened to my beloved Houston and Galveston. If you need anything, lemme know. I really didn't care too much when it happened to New Orleans... but seeing the photos and live footage of what has happened to Houston... shit..pecan grove even-- it makes me sick.
